HERBS AND OILS

Sacred oils and home‑grown herbs help me bring intention into the everyday. There’s something special about growing a plant from a tiny seed, watching it come to life, and then using it with purpose, whether it’s for cleansing, healing, or a bit of quiet magic. It feels grounding to work this way. These oils and herbs become little pieces of the earth that support me, keep me centred, and remind me to slow down and stay connected.

Sacred Oils

Sacred oils are fragrant oils or resins, often frankincense, myrrh, sandalwood, cedarwood and rose. These oils were considered more than pleasant scents, they were believed to be bridges between the physical and spiritual worlds.

Today, sacred oils are used for:

Meditation and mindfulness

Emotional healing

Rituals and intention setting

Aromatherapy for stress reduction.

Sacred oils endure because they offer:

A sensory anchor for spiritual practice

A sense of ritual and meaning in daily life

A connection to ancient traditions

A way to mark transitions, grief, celebration, or devotion

They’re not just scents, they’re symbols, tools, and companions in spiritual life.

Herbs

There’s something ancient and powerful about working with herbs, something that goes deeper than recipes or rituals. To me, herbs feel like living allies. They hold stories, energy, and wisdom that people have turned to for thousands of years. When I grow them, harvest them, and use them in my healing or witchcraft, it feels like I’m stepping into something much older than myself - a tradition that’s been carried through generations. It’s grounding, meaningful, and reminds me that I’m part of something bigger.
